oh.. i noticed an alarming number of people who didn't wear
earplugs at the races...
how in the world can they not get ear damage is
incomprehensible...
anyway, their ears, not mine..
Just like people who turn up their MP3 players so loud that I
can actually make out the lyrics easily even though I'm standing a
few meters away.
I remember how one fella did so right in front of me and a
friend.... the two of us proceeded to make fun of his hearing and
level of intelligence and so on and so forth.... 
Our reasoning was that either his music was so loud or his ears
were so badly damaged that he couldn't hear us razzing him....
And yeah.... the fella didn't seem to bat an eyelid at us.
